More than 20 universities are registered with YÖDAK, many also recognised by Turkey's YÖK. The island is small, safe and Mediterranean, with a large international and Arab student community. Because the TRNC is recognised only by Turkey, check that your university and programme are recognised in your home country before enrolling.
